Today it was announced that Square would be sold at Apple stores in the US. If you don’t know, Square is a service and hardware where you can use with your iPhone or iPad or Android devices to charge credit cards. It allows you to accept payments anytime, anywhere. A lot of people (read geeks) love it, and a lot of people (read old paradigm) hate it.

Sure, Square can change how you make transactions in traditional brick & mortar businesses, but there are literally 1000’s of new opportunities for every day guys and gals who just want to get paid.

I made a small list.

1. Drug dealers
2. Street buskers
3. Door to door canvassers (of all types)
4. Auctioneers
5. People who lend money to their deadbeat family, friends and co-workers (read next)
6. That guy at your office that always borrows just 5 bucks
7. Hookers, strippers and plumbers
8. Sports stadium vendors
9. Garage sale organizers
10. Anyone who has that crazy friend that makes personal bets on everything
11. Bullies
12. Street vendors
13. Jerks that insist on squaring up immediately
14. Girl guides/Boy scouts
15. Old ladies at church bazaars
