Today marks my 5th wedding anniversary. Not bad for someone who grew up as not the ‘marriage type’. Fun fact, the traditional gift for the fifth anniversary is wood. Go ahead, giggle. I got my missus some upcycled fashions from a really sharp Canadian indie clothing label named ‘Spruce’. Get it? Spruce tree, which made out of…wait for it…wood. Genius. I got a really beautiful bent wood and slate artwork that can also be used as a chalk board. Fun!
